At West London Tutoring we have spent years cultivating our system to create the best output for children’s learning. We are in the lucky position to be looking to expand outside of our current teaching capacity.

If you are a qualified part-time teacher, looking to supplement your career with a part-time, well paid job that helps children achieve their full potential and want to be part of our team, keep reading!

How it Works

We at West London Tutoring have written a series of books for children from year 2 to year 5 which allow us to teach English and Maths to a high standard for the 11 Plus/ Common Entrance exam; to give extra support for bright children. There is a book for each term for each year.

Every year a high proportion of children from West London Tutoring receive academic scholarships and sail through the 11 Plus or Common Entrance exam. The books we have written provide clear lesson plans and come with a mark scheme, a teacher’s guide plus homework.

For English there are crib sheets, vocabulary exercises, book reviews and a comprehensive reading list – absolutely everything you need is in the book. The lessons contain comprehension, sentence construction, grammar and writing in different, age appropriate genres.

For maths there is foundation maths (times tables and operations must be at a very high standard) subjects in maths (all taught a year in advance of the national curriculum.)

How to recruit children for your tuition:

Recruiting children will be your responsibility. You may be approached by parents at school, or you may wish to advertise locally on a Facebook group.
