How we work

Advanced Thinking Tuition is a one-stop-shop for parents and tutors preparing children for the 11+.

We offer tried and tested bespoke resources and small group tuition delivered by qualified teachers both in person and online.

Termly workbooks and teacher’s guides for the entire academic year in English and Maths for those attempting the 11+.

Boost your creative writing skills with our range of extra resources. Using these resources have been shown to greatly improve exam results and create a love of learning.

For tutors/teachers:

Our curriculum, taught through our workbooks, is for Years 2-6 in both English and maths. Each lesson lasts an hour and includes a supporting homework to fit in with the school term, no planning needed. Classes can be taught in groups of 4-5 or 1:1. For more information on how to arrange your own classes please contact our business development co-ordinator.

For parents preparing a child for the 11+:

We offer both the Advanced Thinking pathway of termly resources and many extra-curricular activities. We especially recommend ‘The Ultimate Guide to Creative Writing’ for building holistic learning skills.

For parents improving their child’s SATs scores:

We offer both the Right on Track pathway of termly resources and many extra-curricular activities. We recommend our free resources to solidify core knowledge in English and maths.

For those local to Ealing:

We run a flagship tutoring school from our founder Anne’s home in Ealing with a team of qualified teachers. If you wish to join as a customer please visit our ‘All our tutors’ page to meet the team. Classes are £30 a session subject to availability. Joining our school ensures weekly personal feedback and access to third party maths and non/verbal reasoning accounts.
